Justiinsa kun Rumbassa ehdittiin iloita skeittipunkin tervehtymisesta, tulee tällainen suru-uutinen. Fat Wreck Chords kirjoittaa verkkosivuillaan seuraavasti:
”It is with great sorrow that we must say goodbye to Tony Sly of No Use For A Name. We received a call earlier today of his passing, and are devastated. We have lost an incredible talent, friend, and father – one of the true greats. Fat Mike had this to say: ’One of my dearest friends and favorite song writers has gone way too soon. Tony, you will be greatly missed.’”
Tony Sly (oik. Anthony J. Sly, s. 1970) oli No Use for a Namen laulaja yhtyen ensilevystä saakka. Esikoisensa bändi julkaisi vuonna 1990, ja kaikkiaan orkesterin katalogiin on kertynyt yhdeksän albumia. Näistä viimeisin, The Feel Good Record of the Year, ilmestyi vuonna 2008. No Use for a Namen lisäksi Sly teki neljä soololevyä, joista kaksi Lagwagon-laulaja Joey Capen kanssa.
