Black Sabbath: Paranoid
”It was around 1970 and I was 9 years old when I first heard Paranoid on the radio. I was totally blown away and it felt like ’This is the music I was waiting for’!”

KISS: Deuce
”When I first heard KISS Alive in 1976 one song stuck on my mind and it was Deuce. I loved the riff and the heavyness of the song. Still my favourite KISS song.”

Judas Priest: Hellbent for Leather
”I first saw Judas priest opening up for AC/DC on the Higway To Hell Tour in 1979. The show started with Hellbent For Leather and I was totally blown away by the sheer power which came from the stage. That`s why it became my absolutely favourite Priest song.”

Iron Maiden: Phantom of the Opera
”Phantom of the Opera was the first long track where I thought ’Wow, a song that long don`t get boring!’. I liked the idea so that I ended up later in a long track done by myself for Running Wild called Calico Jack.”

Thin Lizzy: Cold Sweat
”I heard Cold Sweat for the first time in a Hard Rock disco and I thought ”I never heard such a heavy and agressive song done by Thin Lizzy”. I knew Lizzy since the early 70’s and they were always one of my favourite bands… That`s why I bought the album straight ahead on the next day.”

Running Wildin The Resilient -albumi julkaistaan 7. lokakuuta.
