Juuri Oscarin voittanut Billie Eilish jäi ilman Grammyja, vaikka oli ehdolla peräti seitsemässä kategoriassa. Laulaja esiintyi gaalassa esittäen Happier than Ever -kappaleensa yllään Taylor Hawkins -paita. Edesmenneen rumpalin yhtye Foo Fighters palkittiin kolmella Grammylla rock-kategorioissa. Surutyötä tekevän yhtyeen puolesta palkinnot pokkasi Jimmy Jam.

Jazzmuusiikko Jon Batiste ja albuminsa We Are palkittiin viidellä Grammylla. Batisten lisäksi illan suurimpiin voittajiin lukeutui Anderson Paakin ja Bruno Marsin kokoonpano Silk Sonic, joka palkittiin kaikissa neljässä kategoriassa, jossa olivat ehdolla.
Batisten We Are voitti vuoden albumin Grammyn. Silk Sonicin Leave the Door Open oli vuoden levytys, vuoden biisi, vuoden r&b-biisi ja vuoden r&b-esitys.
Olivia Rodrigo palkittiin kolmella Grammylla: vuoden tulokas, vuoden popalbumi (Sour) ja vuoden soolopopesitys (Driver’s License).
